We have always envisioned that Amélie would enable people to enjoy cosy knits and at the same time do something positive in the world. We are going to donate the money made from our balaclavas to a charity that is in need.
Balaclavas are a fun and resourceful way to use up left over yarn. We love experimenting with different colour combinations and have really enjoyed making these.
This balaclava is brown, beige, and taupe.

One size fits all
We purchase our mohair from a family ran business in Aotearoa. It is of the highest quality and is light, soft, durable, warm and doesn’t shed like other mohair brands.
When you are not wearing your knit, please fold it. Hanging it may alter its shape.
We recommend washing your knit only when absolutely necessary. Please wash it by hand and in cold water to avoid shrinking. We once washed a knit in warm water and it shrunk to nearly a baby sized jumper! Please do not make that same mistake.
When drying, lie flat on a towel, preferably out of the sun.
This knit is made of 100% mohair, sourced ethically from a family ran business here in New Zealand. The yarn is of the highest quality and is light, soft, durable, warm and hardly sheds.
